ABOUT OUR ONLINE CLASSES
Classes meet virtually twice a week. We aim to provide an interactive experience for all of our students. We offer 5 different types of online classes. Details for each class can be found below:
BEGINNER CLASS: Focus on basic footwork and fundamentals. This class is open to all age groups and perfect for people new to Bhangra or have a some experience and want to brush up on the basics. We teach a new song and type of choreography every week.
INTERMEDIATE CLASS: Focus on more complex choreography and techniques. This class assumes that you have taken at least a years worth of Bhangra classes with us or another Bhangra organization. We teach a new song and type of choreography every week.
ADVANCED CLASS: Focus on more advanced choreography and techniques. This class assumes that you have completed 2 intermediate online sessions with us. We teach a new song and type of choreography every week.
MASTER CLASS (NEW): Our master class is for students that want to learn our past workshop routines. We will hand select 4 workshop routines for each session. The master class will combine elements from Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Classes. Each week we teach a new workshop routine.
‘BE FIT’ FITNESS CLASS: Focus on the fitness aspect of Bhangra. This class is less about teaching moves and fundamentals and more about demonstrating moves and using the class to repeat the choreography and get a great workout at the same time. We use a new custom mega mix of songs every class.
